This extensive luxury home remodel transformed a dated 1990s mountain residence into a bright, open retreat designed around its spectacular Steamboat Springs views. To improve both function and flow, we removed walls to create expansive view corridors, enlarged the kitchen by incorporating an adjacent office, converted the loft into a private bedroom suite, added a caretaker's suite, and completed a carefully engineered retrofit to accommodate a three-story vacuum elevator. Extensive structural log work was completed to seamlessly match the home's original beam design while preserving its mountain character. Our team also brought specialized log stain expertise to the project, carefully matching and refinishing the home's existing log work to create a cohesive finish throughout the residence. Working alongside Olivia's Home Design, every interior finish was thoughtfully updated to complement the home's existing log architecture while introducing a fresh, timeless aesthetic. The result is a fully reimagined Steamboat Springs mountain home that blends modern comfort, thoughtful design, and enduring craftsmanship.
